<B>Do Not</B> apply blood to the top or top edge of the test strip. <B>Do Not</B> smear or scrape the blood sample against the test strip. <B>Do Not</B> press the test strip too firmly against the puncture site, as the channel may not fill properly. <B>Do Not</B> remove the test strip until the result is displayed or the meter turns off.
