An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilized egg implants outside of the uterus, usually in a Fallopian tube. Symptoms include abdominal or shoulder pain, vaginal bleeding, and feeling faint or dizzy. Drugs or surgery may be used to end the pregnancy so your organs are not damaged.
