As you clean around the penis, gently push back the foreskin, if present. Then, start cleaning where the catheter enters your penis. Clean upward and away from the opening. Clean again if needed with a clean washcloth. Pat your skin dry. Remember to pull the foreskin, if present, back over the penis.
