Put on the sterile gloves. Open the package and take out 1 Chloraprep swab stick. Starting at the insertion/exit site, clean in a grid pattern using a back and forth motion while applying gentle friction. Repeat the same motion with the second swab stick. Clean the area that the dressing will cover.
